Hashim Zafar Rathore

Hashim is an international dispute resolution lawyer whose practice encompasses investor-state and commercial arbitration, commercial litigation, and transactional matters. As a SIMI-accredited mediator, Hashim brings disciplined negotiation skills to mediation and ADR processes. When it comes to investor-state and commercial arbitration he supports by preparing jurisdictional analyses, legal research and drafting key submissions. He also coordinates evidence production, liaises with experts, and helps ensure seamless case management.

Prior to joining AKG ADVISORY, Hashim advised multinational clients across Europe and Asia on corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and commercial contract negotiations. He supported commercial litigation teams on breach-of-contract and regulatory enforcement matters, and has advised on large-scale energy infrastructure projects and ESG compliance frameworks for government and private sector clients.

Hashim holds a competitive fellowship from AustrianStartups’ Entrepreneurial Leadership Program, where he engaged in workshops and mentoring sessions at the intersection of law, business, and sustainability. He applies this entrepreneurial insight to advise early-stage ventures on legal infrastructure, dispute resolution and regulatory challenges.
